The History of IAFF Local 726
The International Association of Firefighters (IAFF) Local 726 was officially established in 1943 by the dedicated firefighters of the City of Puyallup. Over the past 80 years, Local 726 has expanded its reach and now proudly represents members from:

Today, Local 726 represents over 500 members
Including Firefighters, Mechanics, Maintenance Technicians, Information Technicians, and Public Educators, across four fire districts.
We also recognize and celebrate our ever-growing community of active retirees, whose contributions continue to enrich our union.
